Cindy Taylor of Miller Realty

I LOVE MY JOB....AND IT SHOWS!

After graduating from high school in 1979, I eagerly anticipated going to college and then starting a career...I just didn't know what kind of career I wanted!  I went to LCC and received my associates in Accounting and Business Administration and then transferred to Alma College where I received a state of the art liberal arts education with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.  Obviously both people and numbers interested me, but after spending a couple years in grad school I still didn't know what I wanted to do as a career that would hold my attention day after day.

Finally, after taking some time off to start my family, it was time to get back into the workplace.  Real Estate had always sounded interesting and I thought it would be a good way to step back into working outside the home because it would allow some flexibility in my work day to participate in the school activities of my elementary age children.  What was just supposed to be a little something to get me back into the workforce turned out to be the first "job" to keep me interested day after day after day.

Now, years later, I can't imagine doing anything else, and if I didn't have a family I love at home, I'd probably be showing houses, listing houses, or at the office 24/7!  Now that my children are older, I still enjoy being able to exchange some time away from the office during regular business hours with real estate showings during evening hours and weekends.

Every day in real estate holds something new, or interesting, or challenging, or all three!  New people, new houses, new kinds of markets, new contracts, new agents I haven't worked with...it all keeps my interest peaked and my skills sharp.  I enjoy the many opportunities to learn and applying what I've learned to benefit my clients.

My education in working with people and numbers comes in very handy, as, without doubt, do my classes in contract law!   My education helps me serve my clients well.  However, I know that it's only because my formal education is in addition to to my "small town" upbringing which taught me honesty, integrity and a good work ethic that my clients are pleased with the results of my work and recommend me to people they know.

My goal is to use all my resources to serve you best in helping you sell or buy your home.  Although selling and buying a home can be very exciting, it can also be very stressful.  As your Realtor you can trust my knowledge, experience and integrity to help you make informed decisions, and my love for the profession to make it a pleasant experience!
